Ryanair announces summer 2020 flight schedule to Ukraine and will fly to Kherson

On October 15, a joint briefing of the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladislav Krykliy and the Commercial Director of Ryanair David O'Brien took place in Kyiv, during which an Irish air carrier announced the forthcoming plans for Ukraine.

The main news was information about the opening of the fifth Ukrainian destination, which will be followed by planes of the largest budget carrier of Europe. From December 21, Irish Low Cost will begin flights from Krakow to Kherson.
In addition, according to David O'Brien, the summer schedule 2020 will see 19 new routes that were not available in the summer of 2019: 16 routes will begin in the winter of 2019-2020, and three will be completely new - Kharkiv - Warsaw Modlin, Kharkiv - Budapest and Kherson - Krakow.
In total, the number of Ryaniar flights to Ukraine will be 43 destinations, according to which the air carrier plans to provide services to 2.1 million passengers, which is 33% more than in the same period of 2019.
According to ACI (Airport Council International), every 1 million passengers transported generates 750 work places, so next year Ryaniar volumes will create 1,500 work places at five Ukrainian airports.
