Resort Conrad Maldives Rangali Island announces the long-awaited opening of the world's first underwater residence with a panoramic view - Muraka.
In the local language of divala, MURAKA means “coral”. The residence is designed to fit neatly into an island reef, allowing guests to admire the incomparable views of the Indian Ocean and enjoy the bright palette of underwater life at a depth of 5 meters. The villa also has a surface section consisting of two bedrooms, a living room, a butler room, a home gym, and two terraces facing sunrise and sunset. The residence can accommodate up to 9 guests.
“Completion of Muraka,” said Ahmed Salim, the chief architect and designer of the residence, “is one of the main achievements in my life. After so many years spent drawing and finding the best architectural solutions for such a complex project, my team and I are incredibly happy to open the doors of the residence for guests of the Maldives, adventure seekers and eager to know the unknown. ”
For the guests of Muraka, four packages of exclusive services have been created: "Traveler", "Taste", "Soul" and "Awe". These services will show the Maldives from a completely new side and make the rest in Muraka truly unforgettable. For example, guests can make their own film about underwater life in the style of the Discovery Channel or learn the secrets of Chinese cuisine from the famous chef Jeremy Leng.
The butchers, who have the task to provide each guest with personal service that meets all his requirements, are also assigned to the Muraka residence around the clock. In addition, butlers serve as excellent guides to the Maldivian life, because they know everything about the culture, nature and entertainment of this island country.
