Because of increase in demand Ukrzaliznytsia will launch 40 international trains, 20 of them to European countries.
This is reported by press-service of the company.
It is noted that non-interchange railway carriages Kyiv-Wroclaw with train number 749 / 51-52 / 750 departs from the capital of Ukraine from December 8 every day at 14:07 and arrives in Wroclaw the next day at 11:25.
In the opposite direction the traine departs at 16:30 and arrives in Kyiv the next day at 17:14.
Also new non-interchange railway carriages will travel with stops at the stations of Lviv, Przemysl, Krakow and Lubliniec.
"In the new timetable, passenger trains travel to a number of important tourist and business centers in Europe, including Warsaw, Vienna, Budapest, Vilnius, Riga, Bucharest, Kosice, Krakow, Debrecen, Lublin and others," commented the head of Ukrzaliznytsya Evgeny Kravtsov.
The official noted that "over the 11 months of this year Ukrzaliznytsia transported 389.1 thousand passengers to the EU countries - it is almost 2 times higher than corresponding figures of last year, in general, was transported 184 thousand passengers more."
The most popular destinations are Kyiv - Przemysl and Kyiv - Warsaw.
