Kharkiv Airport 2019 served 130.7 thousand passengers in July, that is 25% higher than the result for the same month last year. It set a new passenger flow record for one month.
The previous record of 124.4 thousand passengers within one month the company recorded in June 2019.
The growth of traffic was almost equally ensured by both international and domestic flights. The passenger flow of foreign destinations increased by 25% and amounted to 109.7 thousand people, domestic destinations grew by 23% to 21 thousand people.
The number of aircraft departures from Kharkiv Airport in July 2019 amounted to 531, which is 14% higher than the result of July 2018. Of these, 373 departures took place abroad (+ 9%), 158 departures - within Ukraine (+ 28%).
The most popular mid-summer destinations are Antalya, Kyiv, Istanbul, Sharm El Sheikh and Warsaw.
The passenger flow of Kharkov Airport for 7 months of 2019 increased by 25% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 683.3 thousand people. 556.6 thousand passengers used international flights (+ 29%), 126.7 thousand passengers departed or arrived on domestic flights (+ 12%).
The number of aircraft departures from Kharkov for 7 months of 2019 increased by 15% to 3,009. 2,035 aircrafts flew abroad (+ 12%), 974 - within Ukraine (+ 22%).
