In 2021, the State targeted programme for development of domestic and inbound tourism «Travel Ukraine» will be originated.
At its meeting on February 3, 2021, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the «Action plan for support of culture, protection of cultural heritage, development of creative industries and tourism».
It was reported on the website of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.
In particular, the plan provides for a number of measures in the field of protection, revival and effective use of cultural heritage sites, including in the coming years will be restored and repaired cultural heritage sites in the framework of the programme named «Large Construction».
At the same time in 2021-2022 in the field of cultural heritage protection is also planned:
• approve historical and architectural reference plans defining the boundaries and modes of use of historical areas of settlements;
• review the list of cultural heritage sites included in the Preliminary UNESCO World Heritage List;
• approve research and design documentation to determine the boundaries and modes of use of buffer zones of UNESCO World Heritage sites (architectural ensemble Residence of the Metropolitans of Bukovyna and Dalmatia, wooden churches of the Carpathian region of Ukraine and Poland, Struve Geodetic Arc);
• develop and launch an information resource of cultural heritage and cultural values.
In addition, in 2021, the State target programme for development of domestic and inbound tourism «Travel Ukraine» will be originated.
During 2021-2023 in the field of tourism is also planned:
• conduct research on changes and prospects of tourist services market development, study of existing target audiences;
• introduce the Unified Tourist Register - a national system for collecting and analyzing tourist data;
• create conditions for development of conference industry, in particular, create a State Conference Bureau;
• create and implement an official multilingual tourist portal;
• develop tourist information centers;
• develop and promote inbound and domestic tourism within «Travel Ukraine» project;
• implement «Tourist magnets of Ukraine» project.
It is reported that a significant set of measures under the plan is aimed at the development of creative industries. In particular, in 2021 it is planned to originate the State target national-cultural programme of development of national arts and crafts for 2021-2025.
During 2021-2023 it is also planned to build «House of Music», create centers of cultural services in local communities, devise a concept model of creative hubs and introduce a pilot project of creative hub in Kyiv, improve funding mechanisms for UKF projects, stimulate preparation of local investment projects cultural infrastructure, etc.
