The longest route in the world - Singapore-New York - has been suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic. It was restored in November, but changed somewhat.
Besides that Singapore Airlines arrives at JFK airport, not to Newark (EWR), they have also started using their standard Airbus A350-900 aircraft.
It was convenient for the transportation of cargos, but became unprofitable when the passenger traffic increased.
So, it was decided to return the flagship Airbus A350-900ULR.
In the near future, they hope to return the flight to Newark airport.
Singapore Airlines flights have been operated by Singapore Airlines since 2004. The airline has set the world record for non-stop scheduled flights. The journey from the home airport to Newark takes almost 19 hours.
