The winners of the annual photo competition «Wiki Loves the Earth 2021» from Ukraine have been revealed.
Winners are 10 photographers, whose works represent different protected areas of nine regions of Ukraine and Kyiv city and introduce the incredible beauty of our nature, the competition website states.
The competition is a part of international photo competition and it is aimed at gathering photos of as many nature monuments as possible. In Ukraine, the competition has been held for the ninth year in a row.
According to the number of uploaded photos, Ukraine came second among 34 participating countries.
This year, 330 participants and participants uploaded more than 11 thousand photos of Ukrainian nature reserves.
Only participants from Germany submitted more photos - more than 13 thousand photos.
The top ten photos of Ukraine include photos taken in different parts of Ukraine: in Rivne, Ternopil, Kherson, Chernivtsi and Kyiv regions, etc.
